City Council Goals 2015

  1. Proficient Budget Management
    Objective: To develop, adopt, and maintain a balanced Budget which includes consideration of forecasts and multi-year budget methodology.  Data should be presented in a clear and transparent fashion.  Budget management should prioritize the pursuit of low-cost options to increase resource capacity. 
  2. Address Water and Street System Sustainability, Maintain Wastewater SystemObjective: Maintain integrity of water and wastewater infrastructure investments by furthering system resilience, cost efficiency, and system capacity.
  3. Elaborate on Connections and Communications to/with CommunityObjective: Continue to expand public involvement opportunities and identify opportunities for City partnerships with community organizations and/or private entities to leverage community assets.
  4. Complete Urban Growth Boundary and Comprehensive Plan Requirements Objective: Complete Urban Growth Boundary expansion process and communicate next step options with interested parties.
  5. Implement Economic Development Strategies
    Objective: To continue implementing components of the Economic Development Strategic Plan   and pursue low-cost opportunities to further City economic strategies that benefit development opportunities, tourism, and City revenue consistent with City’s Comprehensive Plan.
